Tooth Fairy
Yes, she made an appearance at the Willoughby house last night. Colin lost his first tooth. He was so excited and so was I. It had been loose for quite sometime, but finally made its way out yesterday. He placed it under his pillow last night and was excited to see his tooth gone and money there when he awoke this morning. He is already trying to pull out the one that is next to it. (it is REALLY loose too)He is growing up so fast.

What are you doing
Well the clumsiness of pregnancy is catching up with me (although some might argue I am just naturally clumsy). Yesterday I was walking down the stairs to tell Michael and Cat bye as they were heading off to the gym. I was not really paying attention to what I was doing and was not holding on to the banister as I should have been. To top it off I was also wearing socks that are pretty slick on the bottom (and for those of you that don't know my stairs are wood so there is nothing for your socks to grip). When I got to the fourth stair from the bottom I began to fall, it is kinda fuzzy to me what happened as I as panicked, Michael was panicked and yelling and I seem to have banged up my arm pretty good on the banister as it was throbbing as I made it to the floor on my behind. I collected myself very quickly and did not cry as I didn't want to cause any more alarm than I already had, Michael got me up and to the chair. But the part of this story that I wanted to share is, as I was sitting there trying to keep my heart from beating out of my chest, Cody walks over to me and hugs my belly and says "Mommy, is you baby okay?" To which I reassured him and everyone else hovering around me that yes she was okay and so was Mama, Thank God. I will definitely being using the banister from here forward and taking the steps barefooted.

Hold the Rice
The day before yesterday was Cathy's first basketball game of the season (which they won 42 to 1) Go Lady Cavs! Anyway on the way home I stopped and picked myself and the kids up something to eat. I ordered Colin a cheeseburger with ketchup only. He began eating his burger as we were driving down the road when he says to me " Mom, it has pickles on it", to which I replied "That's okay honey, can you just eat the pickles you like pickles at home". This satisfied his complaint about the pickles and we continued on, about two minutes later I notice the light come on in the back of the van and hear Colin say " Hey, wait a minute this has RICE on it". He had pulled apart the bun and discovered that not only did they incorrectly put pickles on his burger they had put onions on it as well. He immediately tells me that he does not want rice on his burger and can I please get it off, which of course I had to wait until we made it home to do. Anyways our conversation tickled me and I thought I would share :)

My little Thespian
Last night was Cody's Christmas program at his preschool. It is always really cute watching kids that age perform, you never know what you are gonna see. Cody was a Shepard, he was wearing his favorite color (yellow). For a lot of the performance he hid behind his friends(Luke, and Palmer). But I was able to snap a few pictures of him.

Thankful
Today was Colin's Thanksgiving program at school. As always all of the children did a wonderful job. Colin was a pilgrim. I left there feeling fufilled, and truely thankful for all of my blessings, especially those by the name of Michael, Cathy, Colin and Cody. They bring so much to my life and I love them all so very much. Below are a couple of pictures from today.

Blow my mind
I know I am a few days late in posting this, but Sunday evening Michael and I had a whaaaat??? moment that I thought I would share (and embarrass my daughter at the same time). So Cat and I are unloading the dryer when the telephone rings, I go over to get the phone and the voice on the other end greats me with "Hello Mrs. Willoughby, can I please talk to Cathy I have a question about our bible verse?" So Cat gets the phone and goes into our room to talk (as the den is pretty loud between her brothers and the t.v.). When she returns Michael and I asked her who it was that called. She replied "Cla". Michael says "ooh, Cla is he your boyfriend?" to which Cat says "yes". We both looked like deer caught in headlights and asked her what made Cla her boyfriend. She told us that they had talked about it and they both liked each other and they had decided next year in middle school they were going to be boyfriend and girlfriend.
Now I knew that this day was coming that she would have a "boyfriend", I mean Michael and I both had our first "boyfriend/girlfriend" around fifth grade. But boy when she told us that Sunday night, it was the weirdest feeling, like my heart sank into my stomach.

Trick or Treat
Smell my feet, give me something good to eat. Soo we went trick or treating this weekend at my in-laws (there are only five houses in our neighborhood including ours) so we thought the kids would have better luck there. They had a really good time and came home with a lot of candy. Below are a few pictures from the night.
